Annie Watkins 94, of Elkmont, AL died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at her residence.
Born Monday, August 4, 1924 in Rogersville, AL, she was the daughter of Charlie Roxco Dison and Susie Foust Dison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Watkins; sons, Paul Wayne Watkins and Danny Ray Watkins.
She is survived by daughters, Anita Wales, Elkmont, AL, Kathy (Wayne) Newman, Elkmont, AL; sons, Michael (Shelia) Watkins, Elkmont, AL, Albert Wade Watkins, Athens, AL, and Rickey (Kathy) Watkins, Elkmont, AL; brother, Thurston (Vema) Dison; 14 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Public Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
A Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 1:00 PM with Bro. Ronnie Holt officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Athens, AL
