Nancy Ann Barber, 73, of Madison, passed away on June 9, 2019. Her visitation will be on Friday June 14, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Roselawn Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Justin McAlpin officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Nancy is survived by her husband of 42 years, John Barber, daughter Edie Barber(Tony), son Jason Lay(Felicia), granddaughter Megan Castillo(Mark), and mother Geraldine Taylor. She is preceded in death by her father Edgar Pollard, step-father Loy “Red” Taylor, sister Carolyn Blackerby and brother Ed Pollard. Nancy was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved all her family and friends. She also loved horses, dogs, all animals, cooking, fishing, and playing the slots. Pallbearers include Allen Moore, John Moore, Sean Pollard, Dominic Orlando, Jess Granone, and Ron Brown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital. Roselawn Funeral Home is assisting the family.
