Human Skull Found By Hikers In Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY-On Monday, June 10 the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office issed a press release concerning the discovery of a human skull at the Horseshoe Bend Campground:

“Individuals who were hiking in the flood zone area across the water from Horseshoe Bend Campground in Franklin County found a human skull late yesterday afternoon (Sunday, June 9) and reported it to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. 


Investigators recovered the skull early this morning and are in the process of sending it for forensic testing and if possible, identification. 


We will post further information as updates become available.”
