Two Men Arrested In Limestone County For Drug Possession

LIMESTONE COUNTY-On Friday, June 7 the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office issued a release concerning the arrest of two suspects after a traffic stop:

“On Friday morning, June 7 the LCSO received a phone call stating that a male driving a truck along Hwy 99 was firing shots out of his truck window with a pistol. Deputies responded to the call and located the suspects truck on Elm St. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the suspect’s vehicle, which failed to yield for a short distance.

Once the vehicle stopped, deputies approached the truck to speak with the two occupants. Deputies observed drug paraphernalia in plain view and subsequently searched the suspects truck. Deputies located methamphetamine, digital scales and a pistol inside the truck.

Deputies contacted the LCSO

Timothy Jackson

Narcotics Unit for assistance with the investigation. Investigators aided the deputies with collecting the evidence and interviewing the suspects.

Raymond Pruitt was arrested for drug trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia. Timothy Jackson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), carrying a pistol without a permit, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal possession of prescription medication.”
