Lovis “Goat” Steadman, 71 years old, of Hatton, Alabama passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at his residence. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 4:00 PM on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Dexter Rutherford officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. Goat was the husband of Terri Crosslin Steadman.
Survivors include his wife: Terri Crosslin Steadman, one daughter: Holly Rutherford(Darrell), two grandsons: Steadman Rutherford(Christina) and Mason Rutherford(Amber) and two great grandchildren: Anslee Rutherford and Chaseton Rutherford., one sister: Henrietta Taylor(Milton), one nephew: Bart Taylor and one niece: Monica Inman(Will) and two great nieces: Jenna and Taylor Johnson.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Hazel Steadman.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Rutherford, Steadman Rutherford, Mason Rutherford, Bart Taylor, Tim Pierce, Jamie Rutherford and David Berryman.
