Eunice G. Mayhall

Eunice G. Mayhall, 79, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice. He was born March 19, 1940 to the late Hancy Mayhall and the late Ollie Holcomb Mayhall. He was a lifelong resident of the Banner Community in Itawamba County. He graduated from Tremont High School and worked for Charm Step for many years. He then worked for and retired from the Red Bay Housing Authority. He was a member, Deacon and Treasurer of Antioch Baptist Church for over 50 years. Eunice was privileged to serve on the Itawamba County School Board for 12 years and the Itawamba Community College Board of Trustees for 17 years. He enjoyed hunting, sports and spending time with family and friends.

Services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at Antioch Baptist Church with Bro. Cody Crum and Bro. Casey Crum officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday June 4, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home and from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday June 5 at Antioch Baptist Church.

Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Mayhall of Golden, daughter, Sundra (David) Sabine of Decatur, AL, son, Mark (Kim) Mayhall of Fulton, grandchildren, Chris Sabine of Flowood, MS, Brody Mayhall of Fulton, Abby Grace (J.D) Taylor of Fulton, Noelle Sabine of Decatur, AL, and a great grandson, Beau Reagan Taylor of Fulton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Wanda Lynette Mayhall, and a grandson, Nick Sabine.

Pallbearers will be Chris Sabine, Brody Mayhall, Johnny Weatherford, J.D. Taylor, Roger Page, and Harold Holcomb.

Honorary pallbearers will be James Holcomb, Eucellis Underwood, Charles Mayhall, Elvis Mayhall, Ron Phillips, and the men of Antioch Baptist Church.
