 F 05.26.19 Shirley Ann Hodges Collier.jpgShirley Ann Hodges Collier passed away peacefully in her sleep early Thursday morning, May 23, 2019. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 26, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Greg Corble will officiate. Interment will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

Shirley was retired from Robbins Tire and Rubber Company where she was the first female tube molder, and she took pride in that title. She was a hard working woman, devoted to raising her five children. Shirley had a feisty spirit, always spoke her mind, and loved to help anyone in need.
Preceding Shirley in death are her parents, Claude and Lenora Hodges, brothers, Duck and Tommy Hodges, and granddaughter, Courtney.

Survivors include her children; Debbie Hicks, Linda Balentine, Polly Basyouni, Greg Collier, and Buddy Collier; brother, Jackie Hodges; grandchildren, Julius Christman, Jennifer Patino, April Myhan, Haley McCarthy, Chad, Kamie, Charli, and Morgan Collier, Joel Paul Balentine, Layla, Zakeya, Rasha, Lena, and Mabrouk Basyouni, Chace Taylor, and Magen Pickens; and great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Caden, Preston, Landon, Roman, Braylen, Nadia, Raylee, K.J., Emberly, Raegen, Skyler, and Savannah..

Pallbearers will be Chace Taylor, Chase Pennington, Joel Balentine, Julius Christman, Chad Collier, and Chad Myhan. Honorary pallbearers include Kaleb Christman, Caden Myhan, Skyler Gault, and Omar Patino.
