Mr. Jimmy Upton age 62, of McGee Street, Boaz, died on Monday, May 20, 2019 at his residence.
Service will be held at eleven o’clock a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Edwin Waldrop officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Upton was born in Alabama on May 8, 1957 to Rufus Junior & Selma Irene Smith Upton. He was retired from the Boaz Police Department.
Mr. Upton is survived by his wife: Kaye Peek Upton of Boaz, Stepsons & Daughter-in-Law: Jeremy Bell of Collinsville and Kevin & Angela Akins of Ft. Payne, Step-Grandchildren: Mikey Hudgins and Nathan Hudgins, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Shelia & Al Harris of Boaz. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Junior & Irene Upton and Son: Brandon Junior Upton.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Boaz Police Department.
