Deborah R. Nunnelee Ellis – Obituary

Ms. Deborah R. Nunnelee Ellis, age 58, died suddenly, Sunday, May 19, 2019 at North MS Medical Center.  She was born January 28, 1961 in Tupelo, MS, to Bill Nunnelee and Annie Jean Collins Nunnelee.  Deborah was a graduate of North Pontotoc High School and continued her education at Itawamba Community College.  She worked many years as a resident manager for an apartment complex.  She was a four-time cancer survivor.  She was a member of harvest Time Church in Tupelo until it closed.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be at 6 PM, Friday, May 24, 2019, in the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Rev. Dr. Jim Nunnelee and nephew, Bro. Tyler Nunnelee officiating.  Burial will be private.  Visitation will be Friday from 5 PM to service time only.

Survivors include her father, Bill Nunnelee and wife, Evelyn of Endville; son, Joshua Nunnelee (Danielle) of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Candice Mauldin (John) of Tupelo; 4 brothers, Ricky Nunnelee (Anita) of Endville, Billy Nunnelee (Angie) of Palmetto, Jerry Wayne Nunnelee of Blue Springs, and Keith Nunnelee (Lauren) of Philadelphia, PA; grandchildren, John David Mauldin, Piper Mauldin, Judson Mauldin, Emerson Nunnelee, and Abbott Nunnelee; special friend, Dwayne Hudson of Oxford.  She was preceded in death by her mother; sister, Sharon Ray, and special friend, David Ellis.
