Mrs. Peggy Jean Ray, age 71 of Decatur, AL passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Mrs. Ray was born on December 26, 1947 in Decatur, AL to Grady Congo and Lillian Bridges Congo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberly Ray Shoulders and grandchild, Dustin Lamar Aldridge.
Mrs. Ray is survived by her husband, Duel Ray; son, Bradley Ray; grandchildren, Tiffany Ray and Chase Shoulders (Samantha); great-grandchildren, Blaise Barnes, Lauren Shoulders and Brooke Shoulders; siblings, Helen Miller, Judy Cross, Barbara Totten and Grady Congo, Jr.
Mrs. Ray enjoyed floral design.
Services for Mrs. Ray will be at 2:00PM on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Dan Totten officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00PM on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
