Ruia Leeo Wright Pigg, 98, Collinwood, TN Ruia Leeo Wright Pigg of Collinwood, TN was born September 23, 1920 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of the late John Henry and Fannie Belle Sherrill Wright. She was united in marriage to Frank Pigg on July 31, 1935 and he preceded her in death on January 20, 1988.

Mrs. Pigg was a retired from Angelica Corporation, Collinwood Manufacturing and was a member of the Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Cypress Inn, Tennessee.

She departed this life on Friday, May 17, 2019 at North alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama at the age of 98 Years, 7 Months, 24 Days.

She is survived by four sons, Arlie Taft Pigg and wife, Zella and Billy Jr (Ross) Pigg and wife, Ruth all of Cypress Inn, TN, Andy Curtis Pigg and wife, Pat of Iron City, TN and Jimmy N. Pigg and wife, Linda of Killen, AL; two daughters, Lillie J. Franks and husband, Larry of Lutts, TN and Morene Smith and husband, Steve of Killen, AL; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jay Wright and wife, Effie of Collinwood, TN, Clifford Wright and wife, Ethel and Guilford C. Wright and wife, Alice all of Iron City, TN and Clayborne Wright of Lawrenceburg, TN and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Pigg was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny Lee Pigg and Joel Arthur Pigg; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert D. Wright and Johnny B. Wright and three sisters, Ruthie Patterson, Eva Roberson and Ruby Southerland.

Services will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Scotts Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Cypress Inn, Tennessee, with Junior Overstreet and Arthur Cordeiro officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 11 am to service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Paul Pigg, Dewayne Pigg, Tony Pigg, Randy Pigg, Steven Franks and Chris Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Pigg, Billy Sherrill, Greg Pigg, David Berry, Donald Helton, Shane Scott, Jason Simpson and Josh Gray.
