John William Pankow, Jr. age 69 passed away May 17, 2019 at his home.

He was born April 6, 1950 in Joliet, IL the son of the late John William Pankow, Sr. and Genevieve Callen Pankow. He moved to Chester County in 1970. He worked for Consolidated Aluminum in Jackson and then for the City of Henderson as a maintenance mechanic, retiring in May 2015.

He met Julia Welch in 1984 and they married in 1987. They made their home at Enville.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles and mowing the yard and also loved his dogs.

Mr. Pankow is survived by his wife, Julia Marshetta Pankow of Enville; two daughters, Michelle Gatley (Kevin) of Sweetlips and Amada Schultz (Mickey) of Kansas City, Kansas; two stepsons, James Welch, Jr. (Brittany) of Cookville and Jonathan Welch of Germany; three sisters, Bonnie (Tom) Billoni of Huntsville, AL, Laura Lewis (Ryan) of Chicago, IL and Ginger Gwenn of Kansas City, OK; a brother, Roger Pankow of Lafayette, IN. and a grandchild, Alex Gately.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Dave Pankow, Kenny Lewis, Ray Lewis and Richard Lewis.

There will be no services at the funeral home.
