Mrs. Mable Harwell, age 81 of Athens, AL passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Harwell was born on September 7, 1937 in Lester, AL to Henry Joe Tarpley and Rosie Barnett Tarpley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Harwell; sons, Nicky and Ricky Harwell; sister, Christine Meadows and brothers, Ellis B. Tarpley and Gene Tarpley.
Mrs. Harwell is survived by her daughters, Sherry Thompson and husband, Ronnie and Christy Arnett and husband, Brian; son, Randy Harwell and special friend, Lou Jean Jones; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Harwell will be at 2:00PM on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bud White officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM-1:45PM prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jamie Harwell, Nicholas Harwell, Jacob Childers, James Arnett, David Arnett and Will Bloodworth. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Colwell, Conner Mutschler, Johnathon Garrett, Gavin Mutschler, Logan Garrett, Logan Mutschler, Abraham Harwell and Glenn Vinson.
