She lived a quiet life filled with the love of a large family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Paulette and her mother had a unique mother/daughter bond, sharing hours and days together as devoted companions. She loved animals and never let a stray dog go hungry or stay a stray for very long. Paulette also had a long and special relationship with her beloved husband, Kenneth, who served as her caregiver until her death.
