Donald Ponsonby Kyle, III “Trey”, 32, of Decatur passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital. The family will receive friends from 9 am until 10 am Monday, May 20, 2019 at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am with Father Wyman Vintson officiating. Trey will be Laid to Rest at Roselawn Cemetery. Roselawn Funeral Home is honored to assist the Kyle Family. Trey was born October 15, 1986 in Huntsville, AL to Donald Ponsonby Kyle, Jr. and Susan Barnes Kyle. He was a 2005 graduate of Decatur High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of North Alabama. Trey was smart, funny, and a fiercely loyal and a generous friend. Anyone who knew Trey couldn’t help but to love him. Trey could light up a room with his smile and was goodhearted above all else. He will be deeply missed. Trey is survived by his parents, Don and Susan Kyle, two sisters, Juliana Kyle Leedy and her husband Kevin and Sarah Kyle Payne and her husband Blake, and his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family wishes to thank the selfless staff of the Huntsville Hospital ER and Neuro ICU, and especially the Legacy of Hope for their genuine, compassionate care of Trey and their empathy for his family and friends.
