John Barker, 45, died Sunday, May 12, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Red Bay, AL and was a clearing contractor.
Services will be Thursday, May 16, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Ros Barker officiating. Burial will be in Sparks Chapel Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one sister – Judy Austin, Centerville, Iowa; two brothers – Ronald Barker and Ros Barker, both of Vina, AL; one nephew – Stephen Austin; two nieces – Jenny Little and Katie Austin and one great-nephew – Austin Little.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Tamara Furman Barker and his wife, Melissa Cole Barker.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
