Thomas Aaron Stephens, age 95 of Huntsville passed away May 12, 2019.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Stephens; children Jeff Stephens (Laura) and Stanley Stephens (Shirley); step-daughter Karen Thompson (Tim); six grandchildren Ben, David, Megan, Clifton, Dylan and Levi; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mr. Stephens was an Army veteran of WW II, a graduate of Jacksonville State, he taught school and coached in Madison County, a chemist at Rhom and Haas, a realtor and home builder, owner and operator of Southern Reproductions, and retired from American Classified at the age of 93.
Visitation is Thursday, May 16, 2019, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. The funeral service is Friday, May 17, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Briar Fork Primitive Baptist Church in Hazel Green, officiated by Kilmer Hall and Coy Brothers. Mr. Stephens will lie in state one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be in Briar Fork Cemetery.
