Mary Kathryn Sartain Conway, age 90, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, May 07, 2019 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Mrs. Conway was a faithful member of Belgreen Baptist Church. She owned and operated Conway Creations, a wedding business with her daughter-in-law, Sandy, for several years. Her best job of all was homemaker, wife, and mother.
The visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Speaking at the service will be her daughter, Nannette Conway, Bro. Loyd Grifffus, and Bro. Matthew Payne. Burial will be at Belgreen Baptist Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Elliott Harvey Conway, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Sandy Conway; parents, Frank & Rachel Sartain; and sisters, Frances Sartain Lemburg and Joanna Sartain Day.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Elliott Conway, Jr. (wife, Debbie), Linda Nannette Conway, Mary Jo Conway Bryant (husband, Ricky); grandchildren, Jason Conway (Angela), Kostner Bryant, Maggie Henley (Brandon), Rachel Conway Smith (Glenn), Scott Pruitt (Amanda), Randy Pruitt (Penny); great-grandchildren, Lexie & Brenden Thomas, Kason Henley, Addie & Christian Smith, Israel Montalvo, Caleb Puckett, Jacob, Weston, & Parker Pruitt, Madison Pruitt; and six nieces & nephews.
The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Keller Hospital, Burns Nursing & Rehab, Kindred Home Health, Belgreen Baptist church family, and to our many friends for your love and care of our family.
