Miss Tanya Michele Gaskin age 25, of Locust Fork, Alabama formerly of the Boaz area died on Monday, May 6, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Blount Hospital.

Service will be held at Two o’clock p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the McRae Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Alan Hallmark officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitesboro Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Miss Gaskin was born in Boaz, Alabama on February 14, 1994 to James Keith & Deanna Landrum Gaskin. She worked as a waitress in local restaurants.

Miss Gaskin is survived by her: Son: Landyn Eli James Gaskin, Daughter: Kinsley Michele Gaskin, Father & Step mother: Keith & Misty Cook Gaskin of Locust Fork, Sister & Brother-in-Law: Heather & Matthew James of Boaz, Step-Sister: Amber Cook, Grandmother: Geraldean McGlamry of Florida, Nieces: Paisley Gaskin and Aria James, Nephew: Liam Mason.  She was preceded in death by her mother: Deanna Landrum Gaskin.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Dixon, Jeremy Dickson, Chris Gaskin, Jacob Wilson, Jimmy Wilson and Lee Townsel. Honorary Pallbearer will be Wayne Couch.

The family is accepting flowers or suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the family for assistance.
