Albertville Funeral Home Downtown announces the death of Roger Dale Hollis, 73 of Albertville who passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019 at his residence. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Tuesday May 7, 2019 at Albertville Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Cemetery. Thomas Dismuke and Wesley Kirby will officiate. Jerry Richards, Jamie Harrell, Billy Young, Roger Thompson, James Turner, and Michael Young will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00PM until 9:00PM, Monday, May 6, 2019, at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown. Preceded in death by his father: Jay D. Hollis his mother: Lola Cannady Hollis, 2-sisters:Nettie Harris and Willean Silas, 3-brothers: James, Lonnie and Hubert Hollis he is survived by his Wife of 54 Years Brenda Thompson Hollis 1-daughter Judy (Gary) Dunn of Albertville and 2 grandchildren , Crystal (James) Turner and Lisa Dunn.
Mr. Hollis was an ordained Deacon an active member of Dixie Street Baptist Church. The family would like to thank two loving nieces, JoAnn Richards and Tina Harrell for helping with his care during his illness.
