Tina Crews – Obituary

Tina Denise CrewsIt is with great sadness that the family of Tina Crews announces her passing after a brief illness. Tina will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 26 years, Larry and their beautiful 8 year old daughter, Natalee. Tina is preceded in death by her Father, Donald Lee Williams, and is survived by her Mother, Martha Jane Williams, and her siblings Libby (David) Heflen, Wayne, Steven, and Vicky. Tina will also be fondly remembered by her aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her wonderful extended family and many dear friends.)

A native of Columbia, TN, Tina attended Highland church of Christ and participated in her school bands. She attended college at MTSU, where she was also active in band and graduated with a B.S., in Graphic Communication. She and Larry met while attending MTSU, and began their loving, Christian relationship, which brought about a lasting bond between both of their extensive families.

For the past 15 years, Tina and Larry have been active with the Mayfair church of Christ in Huntsville, AL, where Tina was also employed. Tina enjoyed arts & crafts, designing family-related artwork, traveling with family and friends, and Bunco Night with her friends. In November of 2010, Tina and Larry welcomed the adoption their loving daughter Natalee, who has been an amazing blessing in their life together.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Mayfair church of Christ, 1095 Carl T. Jones Dr. Huntsville, AL. as follows:

  • 1:00 pm – Visitation with Family
  • 2:00 pm – Memorial Service, with Jason Bybee and Joe Essner officiating
  • Reception and Visitation following

A grave-side service will be held for family and friends on Friday, May 3, 2019, at 10:00 am, at Rose Hill Cemetery, in Columbia, TN, officiated by David Morris. A reception and visitation will follow at Highland church of Christ, 497 E. James Campbell Blvd, Columbia, TN. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family locally.
