Edward Oneal Bolton – Obituary

Edward Oneal Bolton, 80, died Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born in Tishomingo County, MS. He and his brother, James Bolton, owned and operated Bay Radio & TV Service for over thirty years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, served in the National Guard and was a member of the American Legion.

Services will be Saturday, April 27, 3:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. David Kelley and Bro. Cory Pruitt officiating.  Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay, AL.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years – Barbara Bolton, Golden, MS; two daughters – Edwina Harris and Jacqueline Kennedy; three grandchildren – Madonna Pruitt (Cory), Justin Roberts and Madyson Bolton; four great-grandchildren – Ayden Sartin, Cohen Pruitt, Cullen Pruitt and Kahlynn Bolton and one sister – Brenda Stepp.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Bolton and Lonie Blanton Bolton, a son, Jeff Bolton, a son-in-law, Chuck Harris and a brother, James Bolton.

Pallbearers will be Terry Sparks, Gerald Sparks, Wayne Emerson, J.P. Wilemon, Robert Cashion and Charles Searcy. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Witt, Clifford Page and Harold Ginn.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 27,  2-3:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
