MORGAN COUNTY-On Saturday, April 20 the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement regarding the arrest of two suspects who have been charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine along with several other drug charges:

“On the morning of April 19, 2019, Deputies with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Patrol Division responded to a call for service in reference to a physical altercation between a male and female on Springfield Private Dr in the Somerville area. Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with Savanna Renea Bailey and Bradley Jerome Hall. While investigating, Deputies noticed several drug baggies, methamphetamine smoking devices, and other forms of paraphernalia in plain view inside the residence.

Morgan County Narcotics Agents were called to the scene with a search warrant for the property. During the execution of the search warrant, Agents recovered a large quantity of a crystalline substance that tested positive as methamphetamine. They also recovered a large quantity of a brown, powder-like substance that

Bradley Jerome Hall

tested positive as Heroin. In addition to recovering a quantity of Alprazolam tablets, numerous drug paraphernalia items were also recovered. The total weight on the suspected methamphetamine was nearly 5 ounces. The total weight of suspected heroin was just over one ounce. In the State of Alabama, 28 grams is the minimum amount required for a methamphetamine trafficking charge, while only 4 grams of heroin is required for a heroin trafficking charge.

After the search, Agents arrested:
• Bailey 19, of Decatur, AL on the charges of Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Illegal Drugs-Heroin, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond $20,300.00
• Hall 33, of Somerville, AL on the charges of Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Illegal Drugs-Heroin, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hall received an additional charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance-Alprazolam. Bond $21,300.00

Both suspects were transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail.

Arrests are public information. Any indication of an arrest does not mean an individual has been convicted of a crime. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
