Mr. Bobby Joe Rollins, age 53, of Scottsboro, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019. Bobby Joe was a loving husband and father. During his career, he was firefighter, worked for the State Fire Marshall’s office, and a police officer. He had a servant’s heart. He also was a member of First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Shandy Dill officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 21, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Rollins is survived by his wife, Melissa Rollins; daughter, Alison Rollins; sons, Robert Rollins, Anthony Rollins, and Matthew Rollins; brother, Tim Rollins; and several nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrell and Alice Rollins; brother, Rickey Rollins; and uncle, Waylon Beavers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “PTSD Foundation of America” 9724 Derrington Road Houston, TX 77064 and put in memo “Camp Hope”.
