Kate Erwin PickensKate Erwin Pickens was born in Wrights, Tennessee on July 30, 1925 the daughter of the late William Ernest and Mysia Anna Taylor Erwin.

On December 25, 1955 she was united in marriage to Robert Earl Pickens, who survives.

Mrs. Pickens retired from Brown Shoe Company. She also had worked for Harwood Manufacturing and at the Hardin County Schools in the cafeteria at West Hardin Elementary. Mrs. Pickens was a member of Morris Chapel Baptist Church. In her spare time she loved working in her flowers.

She departed this life on Thursday, April 18, 2019 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 93 years, 8 months and 19 days.

In addition to her husband of 63 years, Robert of Crump, Tennessee, she is survived by her son, Ricky Erwin Cromwell; grandchildren, Chris Cromwell and Crystal Cromwell; great grandchildren, Jacob Cromwell and Caitlyn Johnson; and one brother, Ronald Erwin.

Mrs. Pickens was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Larry Cromwell, a baby daughter, one grandson, Tony Cromwell, three sisters, Dean Butler, Bell Reynolds and Mary Evans and two brothers, Cull Erwin and Fred Erwin.
