Barbara Imogene Wyatt Holloway, age 88, died Friday morning April 19, 2019 at HHRC.
Mrs. Holloway was born and reared in the Chickasaw Park Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Gavin Edward and Delphia Delena Cupples Wyatt. She married James Robert Holloway in 1946. They lived most of their married life in California and she returned to Henderson in 1995. She was making her home at Heritage Towers. She worked as a nurse’s aide for many years while in California. She enjoyed sewing, collecting tea pots and butterflies, and enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by two daughters; Ruth Ann Fennell of Grand Forks, ND and Betty Carolyn Graves of Napa, CA, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She also leaves three brothers; Jerry Wyatt and Douglas Wyatt both of Henderson, Gavin Wyatt , Jr. of Darden, and a sister Kathy Conners of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by five brothers; Billy, Charles, Joe, Jimmy, and Larry Wyatt and a sister Linda Strawbridge.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Owen Cemetery at Chickasaw with Rev. Michael Fennell officiating.
The family will received friends at Shackelford East Main Chapel from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday and Monday from 12 noon until 1:30 PM.
