James David Beard ,60, of Bessemer, AL passed from this life on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Per his request he will be cremated and no formal services are being planned. Preceded in death by his mother, Edna Ruth Brooks Stevens, father, J D Beard. He is survived by his daughters, Natosha Douglas (Joey), Nichole Mahan, Suzetta Schrimsher, Charity Blackburn, son, Jeremy Mayhall (Brandy), sisters, Donna Freeman, Joan Mardis (Rick), brother, Nathan Beard, grandchildren, Brandon Douglas, Colton Douglas, Layla Douglas. La’ Nia Moore, Dayton Schrimsher, and a host of nieces and nephews.
