FHS Spanish students achieve outstanding results at the 2019 Alabama Spanish Convention in Tuscaloosa, AL

FLORENCE-Senora Brake (Mrs. Hanna Brake, FHS Spanish teacher) expressed a very proud “Felicidades a todos!” (Congratulations to all!) on behalf of her Florence High School Spanish Club students, as they successfully competed with students from across the State in multiple competition categories which consisted of language studies and cultural intelligence.

The 2019 Alabama Spanish Convention was hosted by the University of Alabama. The 2019 Alabama Spanish Convention was hosted by the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. “El Cono Del Sur” (“The Southern Cone”) was the theme of the convention.

Eduardo Moreno, 3rd place, impromptu speaking, bilingual
