Bonnie McDonald-Grisham, 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of the Shoals area. She worked as an LPN and an Election Poll Worker. She was a member of the Helen Keller Garden Club and Woodward Avenue Baptist Church. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Grisham; son, Carl “Bubba” (Leanne) McDonald; and eight brothers and sisters.
Her survivors include her sons, Ronnie (Martha) McDonald of Killen and Jimmy (Charlotte) McDonald of Lexington; daughters, LeAnn (David) Thomas of Madison and Melody (Mike) Smith of Florence; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Rosanne Gasque for being a dear friend for many years.
The visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tom Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
Pallbearers will be Alex McDonald, Jimmy McDonald, Dave Thomas, Mike Smith, Blake Woolley and Houston Thornton.
