Mr. Charles Thomas Davis, Sr., 64, passed away Wednesday April 17, 2019 at NHC Sparta from an extended illness. Charles was born September 15, 1954 in Warren County and lived in Spencer (Hale Town community). He was a sawmill worker for Hastings Sawmill, was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; James Edward Davis and Alice McDonald Vest, son; Charles Thomas Davis, Jr., brother; Lester Earl Davis, sisters; Jenny Ann Randolph and Samantha Aline Davis.
He is survived by his wife; Sharon Hale Davis of Spencer, sons; James Thomas (Tanya) Davis and Jonathon Wallace (Kasha) Davis of Walling, daughters; Natasha Hale and Glenda Faye Alice Hale of Spencer, sister; Brenda Randolph of Walling, grandchildren; Jordon Davis, Matthew Thomas Hale, Angel Renee Hale, Terry Lynn Hale, Nevaeh Henry and Jayden Burton. Special nephew Andrew Kirby.
Graveside services will be held Saturday April 20, 2019 at 3:00PM at Sodom Cemetery with Bro. Nathan Hawkins officiating. There will be a visitation at Layne Funeral Home Saturday from 12 noon to 2:30PM. In leu of flowers the family request assistance with the funeral cost.
