Bro. Denny Moore, age 76, of Scottsboro, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2019.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Bro. Ollie Taylor, Bro. Doug Nance, and Bro. Wayne Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Rice Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 15, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bro. Moore is survived by his wife, Wanda Chambers Moore; children, Wayne (Jana) Moore, Michelle Moore (Tony Guffey), Danny (Donna) Moore, and Larry Moore; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; two sisters, Yvonne Wooten and Mavis Tiny Walker; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Hodges Moore and Amy Wright Moore and sisters, Lugene Mathews, Ellen Tucker, and Eileen Walls.
