Mr. Robert Frank Turner age 87 of Elkmont, AL passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his home. Mr. Turner was born on May 6, 1931 in Limestone County to James Arsey Turner and Ida Bell Furline Turner.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Sylvester Turner; granddaughter, Aubrey Catherine Smith; brothers, James Turner, Harry Turner, Guy Turner , Albert Turner, Lee Turner, Lewis Turner and sister, Nettie Stanford.
Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Deverle Turner of Elkmont, AL; daughters, Deborah Hobbs Smith (Steve) of Anderson, AL, Emily Pugh (Ray) of Hinesville, GA, Lesa Williams (John) of Elkmont, AL; son Ronald Turner (Donna) of Elkmont, AL; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Guthrie of Elkmont, AL, Mildred Turner of Elkmont, AL and Lura Turner of Elkmont, AL.
Mr. Turner was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church and a member of the VFW.
Services for Mr. Turner will be at 2:00PM on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Jerry Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:30PM on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the funeral home. The burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont, AL.
Pallbearers will be Jared Smith, Kevin Blankenship, Jeremy Pugh, J.R. Williams, Kasey Williams, Thomas Pena, Ronnie Turner, Jr. and Jim Turner.
