Helen C. Thompson, age 92, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at a local retirement facility. Mrs. Thompson was born in Kentucky to Ralph and Susy Cummings. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She had a servant’s heart. She was a member of Latham Ladies, a group of retired ladies that got together and enjoyed going to places together. She also enjoyed Ceramics. Mrs. Thompson worked as a dietitian at Holy Spirit Catholic School and she also worked for K & M Paint & Glass.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband Guy P Thompson Sr. and parents Ralph and Susy Cummings. She was survived by her sons Alan R. Thompson and Guy “Skipper” Thompson; daughters Susan Gail Caudle (Dan) and Terri Thompson; brother Paul Cummings; sisters Sue Calvert and Jean Cole; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Thompson will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 11:00 to Noon at Hampton Cove Funeral Home with her funeral service following at noon. Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens
