Sherry Rebecca Hobbs, 58 years old, of Hillsboro passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at North Alabama Medical Center. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Lawrence Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Pace and Bro. Tim Sawyer officiating. Burial will be in Elkton Cemetery, Prospect, Tennessee.
Sherry was a member of New Center Baptist Church in Trinity. She was a former employee of Court Yard by Marriott and Walmart of Moulton. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Survivors include her two sons: Jonas Hobbs(Kesha) and Michael Hobbs, one daughter: Hope Owens(Wendell), three brothers: Wayne Daniel, Robert Kelly and Greg Parker, two sisters: Lisa Steeples(Mark) and Amanda Parker, and two grandchildren: Allie Owens and Jacob Owens.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William “Bird” Hobbs, her parents: Leldon Parker(Doris) and Minnie Daniel(Billy), and one sister: Belinda Parker.
Pallbearers will be Greg White, Felton Filyaw, Jacob Owens, Ricky Terry, Samuel Johnson and Daniel Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Knight, Wayne Daniel and Chris Corum.
The family extends special thanks to the employees of Greg’s Ambulance Service and Lawrence Medical Center.
