Margie Keller Pickens GoberMargie Keller Pickens Gober, age 82, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Monday, April 08, 2019 at Helen Keller Hospital.

Margie had a talent for sewing and loved to make items and clothes for her family. Her life was centered around being a mom and grandmother to her family. She leaves quite a legacy of love for her children and grandchildren.

The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 09, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Bobby James. Burial will be at Liberty Hill Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Link Pickens; parents, Willie & Sarah (Scott) Keller; siblings, Ed Keller, Ester Keller, Earnest Keller, Eva Engle, Betty Ergle, and Bobby Keller.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Marvolene Pickens Gunnison (husband, Alex), Geraline Pickens Scarborough (husband, Jesse), Christine Pickens Richardson (husband, Dean), Steven W. Pickens (wife, Pam); grandchildren, Stephanie Vess (Gary), Cindy Walker (Joey), Jason Lee Scarborough, Jeremy Scarborough, Jacob Scarborough, Josh Richardson (Amanda), Heather Richardson Davis (Craig), Courtney Brooke Pickens; great-grandchildren, Nikki Frizzell (Jonathan), Donnie Jones (Kaitlyn), Lindsey Walker, Trace Walker, Jesse David Scarborough, Hannah Scarborough, River Richardson, Bristol Richardson, Elizabeth Davis, Link Davis, and soon to arrive, Baby Pickens; sister, Helen Bickerstaff; special friend, Raymond Gober; and a host of nieces & nephews.

The pallbearers will be Jason Scarborough, Jeremy Scarborough, Jacob Scarborough, Josh Richardson, and Donnie Jones. The honorary pallbearers will be Trace Walker, Jesse David Scarborough, River Richardson, Bristol Richardson, and Link Davis.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Randy Pounders and his staff, Dr. Diego Bedoya and his staff, as well as the doctors, nurses, and staff of Helen Keller Hospital for your love and care of our family.
