Clyde Michael Stone – Obituary

Clyde Michael Stone, 81, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born July 26, 1937 to the late John Bunyan Stone and the late Zula Mae Mills Stone. He was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. He was an avid antique car and airplane collector. He enjoyed camping, watching the Andy Griffith Show and enjoyed flying his planes, and running his successful business, East Heights Pharmacy in Tupelo for many years. He loved his cats and all of his pets that he had throughout his life.

Services will be at 12:00 pm on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Fulton City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home.

Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his Wife, Cleo Stone of Fulton, Daughters, Neisa Stone (Hal) Browning of Nashville, TN, and Natalie Stone of Shannon, special son, Gary Dye of Shannon, mother of his children, Martha Homan of Shannon, Son, Quinton (Melissa) Fason of Mooreville, Grandchildren, Dexter Fason of Mooreville, Gary-Boe (Astrid) Martin of Mathiston, MS, David (Johana) Browning of Nashville, TN, John Michael (Korin) Browning of Nashville, TN, Autumn Stone of Shannon, Madison Stone of Guntown, Great Grandchildren, Benjamin Browning, Carmen Browning, Aria Grace Browning, Lysander Martin, Bryson Martin, Carter Martin, Liam Martin, Brothers in Law, Jerry (Rhonda) Cooksey, Robert (Phyllis) Cooksey, Sisters in Law, Hester Cooksey, Carolyn Sisk, Bertine Fowler, Ilene (Charles) White, Carolyn Cooksey, and Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Son, Gary Louis Stone, his parents, step mother, Irene Stone Bristow, and 3 brothers in law, Homer Cooksey, Charles Cooksey, and Woodrow Cooksey.

Pallbearers will be Quinton Fason, Gary Dye, David Browning, John Browning, Kevin Cooksey, and Hal Browning.
