Morgan County Man Arrested On School Employee Sex Charge

MORGAN COUNTY-The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement on Monday, April 1 regarding the arrest of a former Morgan County school bus driver on charges of sexual charges with a student in 2017:

“On Sunday, March 31, 2019, Morgan County Deputy Sheriffs executed a felony warrant for the arrest of Mark Anthony McAnally, 50 of Lacey’s Spring, AL on the charge of School Employee Sex.

The suspect was contacted by MCSO Deputies and taken into custody at his home. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail where he was booked and held on a $10,000 Bond. The warrant was issued on March 26, 2019 in relation to events in 2017.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
