Michael Edward Worley, 54, of Huntsville passed away Thursday after a courageous battle with cancer, he fought with grace, dignity, and joy. Mike was a graduate of Lee High School in 1982 and University of Alabama at Huntsville in 1987. He worked for Medtronic as an Executive Surgical Specialist for 27 years. Mike will be missed for his positive attitude and joy he brought into the lives of the ones he loved.
Mike is preceded in death by his father, Edward Worley.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Patterson Worley; daughter, Abbie (Mason) Worley; son, Michael Worley; mother, Glenda Worley; sister, Wendy Worley (John) Ellis; mother and father-in-law, Ruth and Ken Patterson of Florence, AL; sister-in-law, Rhonda (Robert) Tyree of Florence, AL; nephews, Brett Ellis, Brad Ellis, and Rob (Bethany) Tyree; and niece, Sarah (Ryan) Swann and Brayden Ellis.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Holmes Street United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow in the sanctuary with Pastor Kevin Perry officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
