Funeral services for Mr. Devon Vineyard, 86, are scheduled for 4 PM, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Center Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Center Hill Baptist Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Vineyard passed away early Thursday in Reagan. He was born August 28, 1932 in Henderson County to the late Willie and Ardell Barker Vineyard. He was owner and operator of a gravel truck for many years. Later in life, he worked for Grave’s Hardware and Wright’s Furniture. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and tending fruit trees. He was a “stay at home” kind of guy who loved his family. He was always joking and making people laugh. Mr. Vineyard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mrs. Rebecca Vineyard; his brother, Leon Vineyard (the late Barbara); his sister, Betty Nolen (the late Danny Nolen); two nieces, Neasha Smith (Steve) and Kathy Watkins (Franklin); six nephews, Kenneth Vineyard (Linda), Steve Vineyard (Elizabeth), Roger Williams (Lisa), Scottie Williams (Tammy), Mike Williams (Michelle) , and Brandon Williams (Jennifer); and several great nieces and nephews.
