Mary Lucille McDaniel Umphers, 93, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019, in Fulton. She was born January 15, 1926 to the late Benjamin Franklin McDaniel and the late Fannie Amber Johnson McDaniel. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed being around her friends and family. She also enjoyed traveling.
Services will be 12:00 pm on Sunday March 17, 2019 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Amos officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 Saturday, March 16 at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Senter Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Neal (Lorene) Umphers of Fulton; granddaughters: Rita Elder and Monica (Thomas) Holland; great-grandson, Warren Holland; sisters: Susie (Stanley) Underwood and Patricia Jacqueline Spencer; brothers: Charles McDaniel and James “Pete” (Kaye) McDaniel; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rogers Umphers, infant daughter, great-grandson, Sam Elder, sister, Mauzelle Strange.
