Ulna Lee Hill – Obituary

 Ulna Lee HillMr. Ulna Lee Hill, age 77, a resident of Foster Chapel Road, passed away peacefully Monday, March 11, 2019, at home surrounded by family members and close friends.
Lee was born July 7, 1941, in Maury County, the son of the late Ulna Willard Hill and Lovice Lucille Jarratt Hill. On March 26, 1965, he married Carolyn Butler. The couple would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary this month. Lee enjoyed a rewarding career as lineman for Columbia Power & Water Systems and retired in 1999 with 31 years of service.

Lee was always kind and caring to everyone. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved his family, friends, and most of all, his Lord. He shared his love of Christ with others and was a member of Cross Bridges Baptist Church. Lee also enjoyed fishing but was an avid deer hunter at heart.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Hill of Columbia; sons: Kenneth (Wanda) Hill and Tony Hill, both of Columbia; daughter: Melissa (Mark) Bohn of Williamsport; grandchildren: Casey (Jamie) Hill; Cameron (Paige) Baker; Lisa Baker; Evan (Myranda) Bohn; Amanda (Junior) Runions; great-grandchildren: Tyler Hill; Meredith Baker; Owen Baker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his brothers: James Hill and Larry Hill; sister-in-Law: Gwendolyn Hill; and grandsons: Matthew Hill and Sgt. Daniel Baker.

Services will be Friday, March 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home, Columbia with Bro. Bobby Fralix officiating. Family will visit with friends Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
