Norman Jackson Hubbard – Obituary

Norman Jackson Hubbard, 66, of Iuka, MS, died Saturday, March 9, 2019, in Cherokee, AL. Norman was a member of Cherokee Church of Christ and was a lifelong paramedic. He retired as Director of E.M.S. from Magnolia Regional Health Center and he also worked as a paramedic at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Iuka. His desire to help others led to saving many lives over the course of his career. Norman enjoyed music and playing his harmonica. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren, and was an avid Auburn Tigers football fan. He is survived by one son, Chris Hubbard (Teresa) of Iuka; one daughter, Cassie Montgomery (Ron) of Cherokee, AL; a brother, James Hubbard of Rock Hill, SC; and four grandchildren, Ethan Montgomery, Noah Montgomery, Sam Montgomery, and Lucas Hubbard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Bullard Hubbard; and his parents, N. C. and Eula Jean Jackson Hubbard. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka.
