Mr. Winston Albert Jackson, Sr., age 85 of Athens, AL passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his home. Mr. Jackson was born on September 2, 1933 in Limestone County to William Andrew Jackson and Virginia May Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie Jackson; grandson, Danny Atkinson.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his son, Winston Jackson, Jr. of Athens, AL; daughter, Synthia Atkinson (Sonny) of Madison, AL; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Jewell of Athens, AL.
Mr. Jackson was a member of Cross Key Church of Christ.
Services for Mr. Jackson will be at 2:00PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Daniel Tucker and Bob Watson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Sonny Atkinson, Will Atkinson, Ben Pressnell, Don Jewell, Morris Jewell and Ricky Collins.
