Mrs. Wilma Ruth Carter, 93, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019. Born in Walker County, Alabama and a resident of this area most of her life, she was retired from CB&S Bank with fifty-three years of service and was a member of Russellville United Methodist Church.
Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with funeral services Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. the funeral home chapel. Bo Lloyd will be officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens, Russellville.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her children: William E. Carter, Jr. and his wife Rhonda, and Karl G. Carter and his wife Leigh Anne; grandchildren: Drew and Lori Carter and Landon and Mollie Carter; step grandchildren: Gavin Todd Greenhaw and Baylor Cruse Greenhaw; great grandchildren: Jackson Carter and Kensley Carter; and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by husband, William E Carter, Sr.; parents, Arthur L. and Mamie Ruth Burchfield Gaston; and brother, Billy Hugh Gaston.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
