Aden Jeanette Gober – Obituary

Aden Jeanette Gober, 93, passed from this life on Thursday, March 7, 2019. She was born March 29, 1925 in Franklin County, AL to William Roebuck Wallace and Mary Lula Puckett Wallace. She was a member of Hodges Convention Baptist Church.

Services will be Sunday, March 10, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Pastor David George and Pastor Adam Pharr officiating. Burial will be in Old Burleson Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two sons – Glyne Gober (Janet) and Steve Gober (Betty); eight grandchildren – Andy Roberson (Shelia), Lane Roberson, Robin Pharr (James), Dana Stidham (Greg), Briana George (David), Jennifer Frederick (Brad), Jessica Linam (Randall) and John Gober (Courtney); eighteen great-grandchildren – Amanda Hester (Josh), Tyler Roberson, Adam Pharr (Lexy), Ethan Pharr, Gabe Stidham, Mason Stidham, Lucas Stidham, Emma Stidham, Marlee George, Reagan George, Ava George, Davis Rhett George, Hayes George, Nora George, Connor Frederick, Teddy Frederick, Sarah Linam and Cole Linam and two great-great-grandchildren – Paige Hester and Skyler Hester.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Gober; a daughter, Gerelene Overton and twelve brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Andy Roberson, Tyler Roberson, Ethan Pharr, Gabe Stidham, Mason Stidham, Lucas Stidham and Skyler Hester.

The family would like to thank the staff at Terrace Manor Nursing Home in Russellville, AL for their kindness and care.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 10, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
