 Mrs. Edna E. Bolding GarrettMrs. Edna E. Bolding Garrett, age 82, of the Oleander Community in Union Grove, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Garrett was born in Marshall County on February 22, 1937. She was married to the late Dwain Garrett who passed in 2008. Mrs. Garrett retired from the Chrysler Corporation. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, gardening & completing puzzles. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church but most recently had been attending Oleander United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Garrett is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Cathy Brannon & Frazer, Rhonda Bagwell & David, Amy Puon Kesterson & Alan; son & daughter-in-law, Jerry Garrett & Carol; grandchildren, Stephen Brannon & Jessi, Lisa King; great grandchild, Ellie Brannon; special niece, Wilma Wheeler; special friend, Ann Boldin; host of nieces, nephews & cousins. Preceded in death by her mother, Beulah Bolding; husband, Dwain Garrett; son-in-law, Roberto Puon; brothers, James Couch, Willard Couch, Garlon Couch, Bobby “Doodler” Bolding.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary McRae, officiating. Burial will be in Oleander Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will include; Tim Couch, Melvin King, Clayton Wheeler, Ronald Couch, Stephen Brannon, Rick Garrett, Clint Blackmon & James Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will include; Frazer Brannon, Alan Kesterson & David Bagwell.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
