Evelyn Joyce “Joy” Huntley Keasling – Obituary

Evelyn Joyce “Joy” Huntley Keasling age 86 passed away Monday March 4, 2019 at the NHC Lawrenceburg Rehabilitation Center. She was a life long resident of Lawrence County and lived near the Fall River Community. She was one of the few remaining former students of the New Bethel School, which was located on the Revilo Road just north of its intersection and the Kelton Road. She was a member and regularly attended the First Baptist Church of Loretto. She taught the Lady’s Class II and was a member of the WMU.Ms Huntley Keasling retired as a seamstress with garment factories.

 

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday March 7, 2019 at Loretto Memorial Chapel , Loretto, TN at 1:00 PM. with the Reverend Sammy Wallace and Rodney Krick officiating with Burial to follow in Mimosa Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday March 6, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Ms Huntley Keasling was born July 27, 1932 in Lawrence County TN and widow of the late James Keasling. She was the eldest daughter of the late P.A. (Duff) Huntley and the late Sadie Joyce Henderson Huntley.

Brenda Davis                                        Tullahoma, TN

 

Step Son-               Dr Jimmie Keasling JR                         Tampa, FL

 

 

Several Step Grandchildren Also Survive

 

Active pallbearers will be Keith Smith, Jeff Brown, Ryan Owens, Mike Gibson,

Major Shannon D. Huntley, Jerry Gibson, David Broadfoot, Otis Ellison

Honorary pallbearers will be all the members of her Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church of Loretto, TN.
