Sarah Mildred Baker – Obituary

Sarah Mildred Baker, age 84, of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday March 2, 2019 at Life Care Center in Columbia.

Mildred was born September 9, 1934 in Columbia, Tennessee to the late William A. and Fannie Mae Kelley Baker. She married William Lawrence Baker and remained married to him for forty-seven years until his passing. Mildred was a dedicated housewife who also worked outside the home at Dixie Manufacturing and Weather Tamer. Mildred was of the Church of Christ faith.

The family will have a private service with interment following at Santa Fe Cemetery.
Mildred is survived by her son, Ron (Nelly) Baker of Nashville; two sisters: Christine (John) Webb and Catherine (Dean) Potts of Columbia; two nephews: Nelson (Cathy) Webb & Steve (Jan) Webb; two nieces: Nancy (Benny) Ayers & Janet (Jerry) Hubbell. Mildred is also survived by her in-laws, William (Nelly) Wong. She is preceded in death by her brother, Luther Baker
Pallbearers will be Nelson Webb, Steve Webb, Benny Ayers, Jerry Hubbell, Nick Ayers, and Jason Hubbell.
