Betty Sue GuntharpBetty Sue Guntharp, 82, died Thursday, February 28, 2019, at her home. She was born August 13, 1936, to Raymond and Cordie Lee Hankins Hardin. She was a member of the Koinonia Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, enjoyed arts and crafts, and was an excellent cook. She was especially known for her cake baking and pancakes. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed being around her family, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:00 p. m. Sunday, March 3, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Hunter Slay officiating. Drew Hart will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in the Hardin’s Chapel Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Bramlett (Jerry) of Mooreville; two brothers, James “Tom” Hardin (Faye) of Tupelo and Joe Hardin (Lynn) of Peppertown; two sisters, Jane Hargett and Jean McDonald (James), both of Fulton; nine grandchildren, Meaghan Slay (Hunter), Drew Hart (Julie), Blake Hart, Josh Box (Courtney), Peyton Bramlett (Christy), Tommy Bramlett, Patrick Chambers, Kody Fisk, and Niki Bramlett; eight great grandchildren, Kolby Hart, Bell Foster, Trista Manscoe, Leighton Slay, Sophia Manscoe, Westin Hart, Ryder Hart, and Lilah Rose Bramlett; one honorary great grandson, Bentley Seger.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Irvin Guntharp; five sisters, Mildred Hardin, Sarah Barrett, Mary Smith, Hazel Summerford, and an infant twin Wilma; two brothers, Bill Hardin and an infant twin Willard; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p. m. Saturday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
