Frances Leona Wales 90, of Elkmont, AL died Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Limestone Health Facility, Athens, Alabama.
Born Wednesday, July 25, 1928 in Ardmore, AL, she was the daughter of Clifford Lance Pittman and Lucy Biggerstaff Pittman.
Ms. Frances has lived in this area all her life and attended Hollands Gin Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin E. Wales; daughter, Beverly Jan Reese; and grandson, Jason Reese; brothers, Robert, Thomas, Jack, Eddie and June Pittman.
She is survived by son, Jeff (Deborah Ann) Wales; daughters, Ginger (Jeff) Brooks, Elkmont, AL and Kandye (John) Smith, Athens, AL; sister, Helen Clem, Elkmont, AL; grandchildren, Troy Reese, Brandon Reese, Shea Zeigler, Tashia Lovell, Shelly Brown, Britney Hovis, Bailey Riggins, Cody Smith and Courtney West; and 12 greatgrandchildren.
A Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Kasey Harbin officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
